Everyone wants to be an 'avatar'. Everyone has a picture in their mind, of an avatar. Everyone wants to meet such a one. Everyone wants to know such a teacher. No! That's 'a surfer'!
I have a 'hunch', or hump...the bell ringer of Notre Dame was such a one. Not a pretty picture, but 'image' is oft times far from fact. Skill at seeing 'the inner', comes more slowly...than an image of our desire.
Where is 'wisdom' found, on every street corner? Where is 'the teacher'? The teacher is hidden, until revealed...and that is 'the budding lotus' open. Pretend, you didn't hear this...and gaze around. What do you see?
Now, subtract 'the handsome ones', the pretty ones...with great pecs and buns, and gaze again...inward! Look inward! Measure not by what you see, but 'listen' and 'feel' with all the senses...and do not fool yourself.
An avatar comes for you, and in the whole world...waits, to be recognized and maybe never will. It's a 'crap shoot' for an avatar...I think, waiting in the wings of objectivity...forever, sometimes.
While, 'the surfer' gets the parts and takes the bows
Namaste.
