Old Merlin

Old Merlin...

cook'n something...

up...

full cup of...

wild rasb'res...

pluck't...

and tender squab...

all spitted for...

the eve'n squint...

that other wise...

that wizard's got...

that seem to say...

but...

never...

what...

as peer'n through...

a key hole slot...

ya never mind...

ya wutn't understand it...

anywise.

This is too true...

some merriment...

of Rowan twig...

and mistletoe...

some fricas'ey...

of druidry...

that only Merlin know.

For...

sate of sage...

soul...

by the fire...

mashing up...

some rose'd...

and honey'd...

brew.

Now...

lilting him...

a soulful tune...

some canny diddy...

o' the moon or star...

doth trickle down...

his wizened neck...

some private liquor.

By now he's jolly...

ev'ry whit...

whisper's somethin'...

never writ and...

Whoosh!

Back in a Flash!

wi' steaming pi...

of ras'bry solve...

to steal to his...

garden slumber...

So...

spy as you might...

try as you may...

he know's...

yer there...

bout a bucket...

o' brain cells shy...

but...

come ahead...

and try.

Oh...

by the bye...

there's noth'n...

writ down...

any where...
