Santa Slightly Slanted

One poet's thought:
What if everything you know is wrong?

Nothing is as you think. It is opposite, in every way, of what you believe you know. For instance: Santa Clause lives at 'The South Pole'...not the North. If he lived at the North Pole, as is commonly thought...he would have been over run by 'tourists' and entrepreneurs, long ago...supposing they could ingratiate themselves, 'just drop in, and stay', like bad house guests.

Santa has 'grace', in his nature, but he is not a fool...and the Elves? Whatever made anyone think, they were midgets, munchkins and smiling all the time? No. They are not presently smiling. Above all...Elves take pleasure in their privacy. They don't like people 'dropping by'. In fact, if one were wanting to start an 'interstellar war', one might just 'drop by', as one Secretary of State...recently did.

They are 'the people of peace', 'the good neighbors', the sidhe, pronounced 'shee-thee', but they brook no interference...and they are 'ages' in advance of us. They are quickened, and 'quick', as the blink of an eye. They are 'guardians', not teddy bear builders, and they wield, this kind of 'magic'...that assembles wonderful things, and terrible things.

These are not fascists. These are Elves. They hate fascists, and...well, they just don't like humans much at all. But there is something in the nature of human children, and in the nature of this blue water world, 'special' to them...and, they watch over these...jealously.

Their 'stone ships' await the foolish, the 'cup of grail' for the everlasting. Christmas is near, children...'sweet dreams of flying machines', unto you. It is said: "I come as a thief in the night, and quickly when I come." It rewards no one to resign, the gifts, that will be given...the righteous. There is enough for all, in the plenitude of heaven. Fear not.

Intelligence suggests, you leave off 'military adventurism'.

Santa Clause.
